We believe we were created to worship God as we seek to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and love our neighbor as ourselves (Matt. 22:37-38). As such, worship can be summed up as rightly responding to God the Father everyday, through Christ, by the Holy Spirit. True worship begins with God and extends to our neighbor.
We believe that, throughout the Bible, God has furthered his purpose on the earth by creatively using available men and women who have simply responded to him. Therefore, we will work to creatively serve men and women who are uniquely responding to God within the framework of their organization by demonstration of leadership gifting or abilities. At is core, leadership is influencing the world through Christ one person at a time.
We believe that God’s word is the final authority for all life’s work (2 Tim 3:16). This means that we will relentlessly work to implant God’s word in people so that they may know him and be transformed by his unsearchable grace. Therefore, we strive to make teaching practical, diverse, and learner-centered for lasting life change (2 Tim 2:2).
We are convinced that since Christ has served the church out of love, we are to serve Christ out of love (John 13:14; Eph 5:25, Rom 5:8; 1 John 4:10-11). This means that we value freely placing time, talents, and treasures in action for the good of another to demonstrate the love of Christ to a lost world.
We believe that Christians who demonstrate their walk with God before the world will bear much fruit and carry out Christ’s command to make disciples. (Matt. 28:18-20; John 15:5). Therefore, through active spiritual formation, we will develop and deploy followers of Christ by having people ‘do’ ministry in the world.
We believe that Christ is building his church using whomever and whatever he so chooses (Matt 16:18; Eph 1:22, 29). This means that God, not gimmicks, brings long term organizational growth through leader multiplication catalyzed by the Holy Spirit.
